Congratulations to Kemarlie Ozarie Durrant from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines who received 2026 Outstanding Youth Award!!!!
Kemarlie previously served as a student activities officer and currently holds several leadership positions, including class leader, Vice President of the Vincentian Student Association in Taiwan, and returning President of the Journalism and Media Club. He has actively contributed to student affairs and club development on campus.
In academics and research, he has received the Yingzhao Outstanding Student Scholarship and a student research grant from the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC). He also won the 2025 ICDF Academic Award and received an Honorable Mention in the 37th MCU Literary & Arts Award.
In addition, Kemarlie lead a news website and podcast channel, visited Banqiao Senior High School to share the culture of his home country, and participated in the Ming Chuan Superman Volunteer Team supporting disaster relief efforts in Guangfu Township following damage caused by the Hualien barrier lake incident. His strong sense of social responsibility and dedication to international exchange, together with his outstanding academic achievements and contributions both on and off campus, earned him selection for this honor and recognition by the university.
