🏆 Distinguished Taiwan Alumni Award
The Distinguished Taiwan Alumni Award is presented by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education every two years to recognize outstanding international alumni who have studied in Taiwan and achieved distinction or made significant contributions in fields such as academic research, business and industry, politics, humanities, and communications.
JMC program takes great pride in the outstanding achievements of its alumni, who continue to earn recognition on the international stage. In 2024, our distinguished alumna, Donya Lynex Francis, who currently serves as the Ambassador of Saint Kitts and Nevis to Taiwan, received this prestigious award. In 2026, another distinguished alumna, Bernice A. Matthew, Director of the Saint Kitts and Nevis Information Service under the Prime Minister’s Office, was honored with the 5th Distinguished Taiwan Alumni Award.
The recognition of two of our alumni with this prestigious national award in consecutive award cycles highlights the success of our program in nurturing globally minded professionals. It also demonstrates the professional excellence and international influence of our graduates in public affairs and communications.
We are honored to invite Ms. Bernice A. Matthew to deliver a short speech to the JMC Program on November 3, 2026. Mainly to share her experiences and reflections on studying in Taiwan.
